The idea
Most mood trackers reduce how you feel to a number. MoodQuad takes a different approach.
Using the circumplex model of emotion, MoodQuad maps how you feel across two dimensions — pleasantness and energy — creating four broad emotional states: Energized, Stressed, Low Mood, and Calm.
Users can log how they feel in seconds, add context such as sleep, exercise, work, or stress, and begin seeing how their emotional patterns change over time.

From tracking to forecasting
With optional Apple Health integration, MoodQuad can connect mood history with heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep, time of day, and other personal patterns.
As MoodQuad learns an individual's patterns, it can surface likely emotional trends. A prediction or “ghost” dot lets users compare the forecast with how they actually feel. The user's own check-in always remains the real mood entry.
Mood forecasting is designed for self-reflection and pattern awareness — not clinical prediction or diagnosis.

Privacy by design
MoodQuad requires no account and uses no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Personal mood and HealthKit information is processed on the user's iPhone. Users control whether they export their history, with PDF, CSV, and JSON export available to Premium users.

Founder
“I've spent much of my career in medicine, but I've also always been interested in technology and finding better ways to understand information. MoodQuad started with a fairly simple question: could mood tracking tell us more than just how someone felt yesterday?”
